Here at Club Row Creations, we grabbed a spare five minutes from our busy world of promotional clothing and t-shirt printing to dream up some clever ways to show you, our lovely customers, just how brilliant our promotional clothing products are.
After two cups of tea and more than two biscuits, we concluded the best thing to do was to recreate situations that our best-selling promotional t-shirts were likely to come up against during general, everyday use. We decided to put our three top t-shirts to the test, all of which are 100% cotton single jersey.
Here’s what we came up with,
The Club Row Creations T-shirt Performance Test:
The first product we tested was our Stedman (made by Hanes) 155gsm t-shirt. As our most popular mid-weight t-shirt, it’s great for one-off events so that’s where we tested it! One of our female members of staff (names protected to avoid embarrassment!), designed ten of these for her brothers stag do, which took place over 2 nights in Newcastle. Coming as little surprise to no one, all the lads insisted on wearing them from start to finish, making sure all the girls in the bars knew they were on a stag do. Typical!
Fast forward to post stag do and despite a few nasty hangovers, beers spillage and stories that the boys won’t share with us, all the personalised t-shirts returned to London in one-piece, seams intact and promotional print in place. That’s what we like to see!
Our second product to undergo a test was our 165gsm Continental Men’s Classic Jersey t-shirt, made from superior, retail-quality combed cotton. Think Levi advert. Think male model with muscles. Think pulling off his t-shirt in a bid to discover what’s underneath. Well instead of thinking about it, we tried it! Our lucky female staff argued for hours about who would get the chance to literally ‘rip off’ our Men’s Classic Jersey promotional t-shirt from our borrowed male model and, in the end, they decided to share the treat!
In spite of numerous long nails and plenty of clawing for position, our custom printed t-shirt remained in shape, un-stretched, undamaged and ready for another wear. Result!
Last, but not least, we tested our 205gsm Gilden Ultra Super Heavyweight t-shirt – ideal branded clothing for uniforms and clubs. For this test, we offered a free sample of t-shirts to a local rugby club, where the team train twice a week and really put clothing through its paces. Two months later and its good news! The shirts have washed perfectly, show no signs of shrinkage, haven’t stretched and proved pretty much man-proof with their ‘no special washing requirements’. Simple!
So the moral of the story is, for any promotional event, uniform or personal requirement, Club Row Creations has the t-shirt for you!
